The garden turns rolled gnomes into progression. Place useful gnomes, let their crops grow, collect the output, sell it, and reinvest the money into stronger rolling, upgrades, or more garden space. The official Roll A Gnome description confirms crop production, selling, garden growth, and offline progress, but it does not publish exact timers, yields, values, caps, or expansion costs.
This hub gives you a repeatable way to read those changing fields from your current server. It avoids a wide spreadsheet: each index stacks into labeled cards on small screens, so you can keep it open beside Roblox without horizontal scrolling.

Plan expansion →The garden loop
Start with one clean crop cycle
Choose a single placed gnome and record the crop state. Wait until the game shows a ready animation, prompt, or other clear cue. Harvest and note the quantity change. If possible, sell that crop without mixing older inventory and record the money difference. This gives you a baseline that remains useful even if the game later changes prices, because the check date and conditions are attached.
Do not time a crop that was already growing when you started. Do not change a garden-wide upgrade during the test. If several plots finish at once, record them separately before collecting. The Crops Guide provides a compact index with blank fields for values the current evidence does not support.
Arrange around your real bottleneck
An open productive position is usually the simplest loss to fix. Place a supported gnome and run a cycle. If all positions are full, compare the lowest confirmed output with one reserve gnome using the Placement Guide. If several useful reserves are waiting, read the next expansion requirement rather than spending every sale on more rolls.
Travel may also be a bottleneck when crops are ready quickly but the Sell route interrupts placement and rolling. Current gameplay shows a Sell destination and an Auto Sell product, but the exact Auto Sell behavior is not documented publicly. Learn the manual route before judging whether automation changes your garden layout.
Offline growth without guesswork
The official description says crops grow while you are offline. It does not say whether every crop progresses, whether there is a maximum offline duration, whether rewards require a return dialog, or whether gnomes level while away. Run a controlled test: record the full departure state, leave for a known interval, and record the return state before collecting or rolling.
Use Offline Growth for the detailed protocol. A crop that was 90% complete at logout cannot establish a full-cycle offline time when it is ready on return.
Decide when to expand
Expansion should solve capacity, not simply consume cash. Verify the visible requirement and price, count the additional usable positions after purchase, and confirm you have gnomes ready to fill them. Include prerequisite upgrades or repeated purchases in the full cost. Then compare that cost with your normal sale-cycle income.
If the next expansion costs many cycles and you have no reserve worker, another roll may be necessary first. If the garden is full and several useful reserves are idle, expansion can convert inventory into production. If output is low everywhere, a garden-wide upgrade may outperform new space. The Expansion Guide provides a decision card for each state.
Garden mistakes to avoid
Mixing crop sales
A single money increase cannot reveal each crop’s value when several types were sold together.
Timing from memory
Use exact start and ready cues; a rough feeling is not a crop timer.
Changing everything
Moving several gnomes and buying an upgrade at once prevents useful comparison.
Buying empty capacity
Expansion does not help immediately when no usable reserve gnome can fill the new position.
Assuming an offline cap
Test multiple known intervals before describing where progress stops.
Freezing old prices
Read every cost in your current server before committing the next sale.
Current crop evidence
Current gameplay visibly connects crop-themed gnome names with player gardens. Corn Gnome, Strawberry Gnome, Pumpkin Gnome, Watermelon Gnome, and Dragonfruit Gnome appear in dated footage. This does not establish a complete crop catalog or a one-to-one formula between name and output. The crop index records the names and leaves exact timer, yield, value, rarity, and effect blank until a readable in-game result supports them.
Keep your garden record small
For each productive position, track gnome, crop, level, start, ready, yield, sale result, and active upgrade. At the garden level, track open positions, next expansion requirement, and offline test interval. That is enough to choose your next action without building a fragile spreadsheet of values copied from another update.
Continue to Money when the uncertainty is sale value, Rolling when you need another worker, and Gnomes when the uncertainty is rarity or placement. Exact crop formulas, caps, levels, adjacency effects, automation behavior, expansion prices, and unlock rules remain live-game checks.
Evidence note
Crop growth, sale progression, garden expansion, and offline growth are supported by the official experience description. Interface and name observations come from direct gameplay checked August 13, 2026 and are labeled community reported. No number was inferred from a blurred label or short sample.
